Plot Blue
Sired by Mr Blue out of the mare Ilotte who is a daughter of Pilot. German rider Marcus Ehning and his exceptional horse, Plot Blue, formed one of the greatest show jumping partnerships of all time. Together, they conquered some of the most challenging courses in the world, earning numerous victories and accolades along the way. Plot Blue was born in 1997 and bred by the Burgers family of Moergestel, Netherlands. His dam, Ilotte, was a valuable mare who had already produced several successful show jumpers including the KWPN-approved stallion Oklund. Plot Blue`s sire, Mr. Blue, was also a renowned show jumper who had competed at the international level.
Marcus Ehning first began riding Plot Blue in 2008, and the pair quickly developed a strong bond. They began competing at the highest level of the sport, winning their first major Grand Prix in Verona, Italy, in 2009.
In 2010, Ehning and Plot Blue achieved one of their greatest victories by winning the Rolex/FEI World Cup Final. The competition was held in Geneva, Switzerland, and featured some of the best show jumping pairs in the world. Ehning and Plot Blue delivered impressive performances throughout the event, ultimately earning the top prize.

Marcus Ehning and Plot Blue continued to achieve great success in the years following their World Cup win. They won numerous high-profile competitions, including the CSI5* shows in Gothenburg and Paris.
In 2012, Marcus Ehning and Plot Blue were named to the German Olympic team. They took on some of the world`s top riders at the London Olympics, where Plot Blue put in two clear rounds in the individual jumping qualifier and round A, resulting in a respectable 12th-place finish overall.
